Employer Advertising & Placement Policy
Standards for employer listings, paid placements, and editorial review.
Last updated: June 17, 2026
This Employer Advertising & Placement Policy describes how Job Path Florida (“JobPathFL”) reviews, publishes, and manages employer listings and paid placements. It applies to Post a Job submissions, Verified Employer Profiles, Featured Job Postings, hiring events, and related promotional options.
Purpose of JobPathFL placements
JobPathFL helps Florida job seekers discover real employers, career categories, and opportunities by location. Employer placements must support that purpose. We prioritize clarity, accuracy, and usefulness over volume.
What we accept
JobPathFL generally accepts submissions from legitimate employers and authorized representatives, including:
- Private employers and businesses
- Public agencies and municipalities
- Schools, colleges, and educational organizations
- Hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations
- Staffing firms and recruiters representing real openings
- Nonprofit organizations with genuine hiring needs
- Approved job fair and hiring event organizers
Listings should relate to Florida employment, include a real organization, describe an active job or legitimate hiring need where applicable, and provide clear application instructions.
What we may decline, edit, or remove
JobPathFL may reject, edit, remove, pause, or decline to publish listings that appear:
- Inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete
- Spammy, duplicated, or low quality
- Inappropriate for a community employment directory
- Discriminatory or unlawful
- Unrelated to Florida employment or outside site scope
- Misrepresenting the employer, compensation, work location, or application process
- In violation of our Terms of Service or applicable law
We may edit formatting, trim excessive promotional language, standardize location or category placement, or request corrections before publication.
Paid placement does not guarantee outcomes
Paid options provide defined placement services such as featured visibility, profile presentation, or event promotion. Payment does not guarantee:
- Acceptance or publication
- A specific ranking position over time
- Traffic, clicks, impressions, or applicant volume
- Hires or hiring results
JobPathFL reviews paid submissions after payment is confirmed. If a listing does not meet our standards, we may contact you, request changes, decline publication, and/or issue a refund when appropriate. See billing, cancellation, and refund terms in our Terms of Service.
Endorsement and verification
Unless explicitly stated for a specific product, paid placement does not mean JobPathFL endorses an employer, guarantees the accuracy of every job detail, or verifies hiring outcomes. A Verified Employer Profile indicates that JobPathFL has applied its verification and profile review process for that paid product. It is not a general endorsement of every statement made by the employer on external sites.
Placement types
Basic Employer Listing (free request)
Free editorial listing requests are reviewed as capacity allows. There is no guaranteed review date or publication timeframe, and submission does not guarantee inclusion.
Featured Job Posting (one-time)
Featured Job Postings promote one specific active opening for a defined term. They are one-time placements and do not automatically renew.
Verified Employer Profile (recurring)
Verified Employer Profiles provide employer-approved branding, verification, priority placement, and updates during each active 90-day term. Profiles renew every 90 days unless canceled. See billing, cancellation, and refund terms in our Terms of Service for cancellation instructions.
Hiring events and custom placements
Hiring event and custom campaign placements are reviewed individually. Duration, pricing, and renewal terms are described on the relevant form or confirmed before payment.
Payment confirmation
Paid flows use Stripe checkout. JobPathFL treats payment as confirmed only through Stripe’s verified payment processing — not through browser return pages alone. Employers may see an informational return page after checkout, but final payment status depends on verified processor confirmation.
Employer responsibilities
Employers are responsible for keeping listings current, removing filled positions when appropriate, ensuring submission authority, and complying with employment and advertising laws. JobPathFL may remove outdated listings or request updates when information appears stale or inaccurate.
Images, logos, and content rights
By submitting materials, you confirm you have the right to provide them and grant JobPathFL permission to display and format them for directory use as described in our Terms of Service.
Changes and enforcement
JobPathFL may update this policy, placement standards, or available products over time. We may enforce this policy at our discretion to protect job seekers and maintain directory quality.
